New Focus for Blog
If you glance at my blog archives, you'll notice a lapse of my blogging activity lately. My earliest posts focused on some of my professional activities and interests, sharing related images or engaging media. Managing several personal and business websites, including social media profiles and posts, I found my online activity shifting. I also found myself at a loss of time to update each individual website/profile/blog.
My blog content then shifted to sharing the information I found interesting online that wasn't directly connected to my personal or professional activities. I found that Twitter fit my needs best for finding news and information on topics I was interested in reading, tracking, and sharing. I would then copy and paste those Twitter posts here on my Blog and my Facebook Page, until I did not see a need for disseminating the same information in several different online outlets.
I am now returning to the original intent of this Blog, where I plan to write updates of my professional interests and activities. I do not plan on posting on this Blog often, but I am hoping to get in the habit of doing so. My initial goal is quite low; a substantial update once every quarter. Ideally, I would blog at least once a month, but I will attempt to accomplish my initial goal, so I can get back into the habit of tracking and enhancing my professional development.
The most interesting of my recent online activity for my followers to read and use is the Science, Academia and Innovation online "newspaper", highlighting daily developments in scientific research, higher education news, and breakthroughs in the health and technology industries. I hope you find it to be a stimulating, comprehensive, and enjoyable daily resource!
Cheers,
